Capt. Verlin Bob Harmon, 50, died at 5 a.m. Sunday, September 29, 1974 in Del Ray, Florida.  Retired from the U. S. Air Force, he attended Olney schools.

Capt. Harmon was born November 10, 1923 in Richland County, a son of Lee H. and Stella A. Shockey Harmon.

Capt. Harmon is survived by his wife; two daughters; one son; four sisters and three brothers, Lena Foreman, Ruth Eyer, Loretta Schnell, and Roy Harmon all of Olney; Wilmer Harmon, Claremont, Edna Grimes, Flora and Kenneth Harmon, Washburn, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Harmon.

Services will be in Florida.
