Charles Wilbur Turrentine, 42 of New Orleans, Louisiana died at 8:35 p.m. Monday, April 7, 1964 in Veteran’s Hospital in that city. He was a former resident of McLeansboro, Illinois.

He was born December 10, 1921 in Hamilton County, Illinois the son of Paul and Lydia (Halley) Turrentine.

Mr. Turrentine was a Veteran of WW II.

He is survived by one brother, Benny Turrentine of Decatur, Illinois.

Funeral services for Charles W. Turrentine will be held at Donelson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Rev. Ralph Harrelson officiating. Burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at McLeansboro.
