Dorothy Sterchi, 57, Dundas died Tuesday afternoon, August 26, 1980 in Richland Memorial Hospital.  Services in the Saron United Church of Christ with Rev Kenneth Kramer presiding. Burial in Saron Cemetery.

Mrs. Sterchi was born in Richland County on October 28, 1922 the daughter of Christian P. and Rose (Burgener) Iaggi. She married Lester H. Sterchi in Richland County on June 2, 1945 and he survives.

She was a  member of the Saron United Church of Christ and was organist there for 35 years. She also taught piano for many years and was a member of the Wabash Piano Teacher's Association.

Other survivors include a son, Steve, Dundas; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Jackie) Houchin, Olney, Mrs. Marty (Sandy) Reed, Charleston; a brother, Glenn Iaggi Medinah, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Dan (Joyce) Pemberton, Hoffman Estates, Ill.; her mother, Rose Burgener, Chicago and six grandchildren.
