Elizabeth Ann Gassmann (Vaughn)

Elizabeth A. "Liffet" Vaughn, 62, 507 N. Boone St., Olney died Wednesday January 23, 1985 in Richland Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney with Father Bill Rowe presiding. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Vaughn was born October 27, 1922 in Olney, the daughter of Zean and Gertrude (Weber) Gassmann. She married Charles R. "Bob" Vaughn December 4, 1943 in Quantico, Va. and he survives.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney, the Audubon Society and the American Cancer Society's "Reach to Recovery".

Other survivors include five sons: Charles Brad and Ray W., both of Olney, Allen Z., Claremont, John R., Springfield and Frank, Chicago; four daughters, Ann T. Decker, St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Robert (Carol) Schafer, Newton, Kathleen Vaughn, New York, N.Y. and Mary G. Vaughn, Olney; three brothers, Henry and George, both of Olney and Frank of Indiana; four sisters, Mary Stonecipher and Kay Schaub, both of Olney, Martha Kraeger, Chicago, Gertrude "Trudy" Reynolds, Rockford; her mother, Gertrude Gassmann, Olney; and ten grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers and a sister.
