Dan Totten (1965)

At this time in life our minds are full of memories, they are ALL there, but the recall is random, never knowing what triggers them. I remember Jim as a role model when I was a teenager. Jim was my cousin, as many Totten's were in Olney. We did many things together, CB radios, painting his international scout truck red, going rabbit hunting, all good times. He spent a life of service to his community. Boy scout troop at the American Legion, fire departments in Olney and Carmi and teaching. He was the best man at my wedding 56 years ago. He was a good friend that influenced my life. I will never forget him. We will go hunting again someday my friend, maybe you will get one then.
