Glenna Keen (Brown)

Glenna Maxine Brown, 72, of Olney, died Monday, December 21, 2009, at her residence.

Mrs. Brown was born April 16, 1937, in Crystal, Mich., the daughter of Ivan and Mamie (Ford) Keen. She married George E. Brown Sr. on February 3, 1958. He survives.

She was retired from Wal-Mart in Olney, where she had worked as a department manager.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, George E. Brown Sr., of Olney; son, George "Charlie" Brown Jr. and his wife, Betty, of Olney; three grandchildren, Jay Brown and his wife, Kacie, of Olney, Jennifer Walker and her husband, Dustin, of West Liberty, and Michael Brown, of Olney; four great-grandchildren, Gary and Mason Brown and Gavin and Emma Walker; brother, Harold Cox, of Petersburg, Ind.; brother, Verlin Keen and his wife, Phyllis, of Olney; brother, James Keen, of Melbourne, Fla.; and sister, Janice Seaton and her husband, Jim, of Olney.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Mamie Keen, and in-laws, Roy and Inez Bailey.

Visitation was at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Services were held at the funeral home with Minister Ben Woollard officiating.

Burial was in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont.
