Mary Jane (Elie) Zwilling, 86, of Olney, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in Evansville, IN.

Jane was born March 23, 1938, in Jasper County, IL to parents Harry and Edith (Shryock) Elie. She married Anthony Zwilling on October 20, 1956. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2011.

Jane worked in the food service industry for many years including St. Joseph Catholic School, Rax, and ERBA Headstart. She also volunteered her time at Masters Hands and was a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie.

Jane loved cooking for family and friends, taking care of her homestead, and traveling. Family was everything to her and she enjoyed hosting many gatherings.

Jane is survived by her son, Mark Zwilling and wife Lyn of Newburgh, IN; son, Roger T. Zwilling and wife Sarah of Olney; daughter, Angie Wisner and husband Danny of Olney; daughter-in-law, Beth Zwilling of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Jared Zwilling, AJ Zwilling, Megan (Kevin) Brinkley, Jake Zwilling, Mariah (Zach) Sandlin, Rachel Wisner, and Madison Masterson; great grandchildren, Wyatt, Avery, Emersyn, and Lorelei Zwilling, Brilyn and Brayson Brinkley, Jarron and Jenson Zwilling, and Rosalie Sandlin; siblings, Pat (Carolyn) Elie, Nancy (Doug) Craig, Barbara Prince, Judy (Gary) Nunnery, and Janet Marks and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; friend, George Cooley; and brother, Tom Elie.

Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 14, 2024, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste Marie.

Interment will take place in Sainte Mary's Cemetery in Ste. Marie. Memorials can be made to Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church
