William T. Brummett Jr. born in Clay City on September 22, 1938 passed away Thursday October 12, 2006 at age 68.

Bill made his home in San Clemente, Calif. in 1960 with his beloved wife of 49 years, Dee. He is survived by his father, William T. Sr.; brother, Raymond; sisters, Kathy Tomlinson and Linda Linder; wife, Dee; daughters, Tia, Joni, Amy and Jill; son, Willie; and nine grandchildren.

Bill worked for Emerson Industrial Controls for 33 years before taking an early retirement to pursue his real passion of cooking. Bill bought Etienne's Restaurant in San Clemente in 1994, entertaining for several years before deciding to spend more time with his grandchildren, which he did with great love and enthusiasm.

Bill continued to be involved with the San Clemente culinary scene through The Toast of San Clemente at Casa Romantica as well as various other local events.
