Mary Ann (Bowen) Langston, 84, of West Plains, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at West Vue Nursing Center. She was born in her childhood home in Richland County, Illinois on April 24, 1938 to Ralph Whitaker Bowen and Thelma (Wyatt) Bowen.

Mary Ann was a graduate of Richland County High School in Olney, Illinois and attended Lincoln Christian University formerly known as Lincoln Bible Institute in Lincoln, Illinois. She was in banking for the majority of her adult life with a few short stints in the secretarial field.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Arthur “Leon” Langston, her parents and a sister, Patsy Witte.

Survivors include a daughter, Bethany Jarvis of Noble, IL, a son, Kirk (Rebecca) Langston of West Plains, MO, grandchildren, Sarah Wibbenmeyer, Nathan, Caleb and Faith Delks, Hannah Lepper, Emily and Cobi Langston, Allanah Honeycutt, Megan Carmichel, Peytan Bassett;  several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate her life held at Marion Christian Church in West Salem, IL with Minister, Bob Hentrich officiating.
