Richard Byron Anderson, 53, Olney, died Wednesday, Feb 13, 1991 At Richland Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Anderson was born Feb 5, 1938 in Dundas, the son of Reginald Byron and Dorothy (Berry) Anderson. He married Carolyn Phillips on Aug 17, 1963 in Olney and she survives.

Mr Anderson worked for Illinois Dept of Transportation with highway maintenance. He was a member of the Trinity Luthern Church. He was also an Olney Township Precinct Committeemanm was retired as a Major from the Illinois National Guard and was a member of the Modern Woodsmen of America.

In addition to his wife, survivors include one daughter, Anne Elizabeth Anderson at home; one brother, Frank Anderson and wife Tressie of Claremont; one sister, Mrs Francis (Jean) Zerkle of Dundas; his mother, Dorothy Anderson of Dundas; father and mother in law, Mr and Mrs Carl Phillips of Olney; one sister in law, Mary Martha Phillips of Yorkville, IL; 3 nephews and 1 niece; and several aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father.
