
Edmund J. Snively, 66, of 538 East Chestnut St., Olney, passed away in June of 1977 at the Richland Memorial Hospital following a long period of ill health.
Mr. Snively was born in Richland County, the son of Edmund C. Snively and Laura Yelch Snively. He had never married.
He had been a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church most of his lifetime. He had been an instructor in the East Richland Public Schools from 1934 to 1972. He served on the Board of Directors of the Olney Carnegie Public Library from 1948 to 1976.
Surviving are two brothers, Robert B. Snively and Wendell A. Snively, both of Olney. Other survivors are a nephew, Allen B. Snively and two grand-nephews, Allen B. Jr. and Curtis Snively and several cousins.
His mother and father have preceded him in death; also an infant sister.
