Palla R. Wolverton, 58, of Cisne, formerly of Claremont, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia.  Funeral services at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Les Boldt officiating. Burial in Goss Cemetery in northern Richland County.

Mrs. Wolverton was born July 8, 1948, in Olney, the daughter of Paul and Audrey (Catterton) Phillips. She married Walter Wolverton in September 1966 in Olney. He preceded her in death.

She was a certified nursing assistant for 30 years in Moline. She was a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and good friend to everyone who knew her. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Wolverton is survived by her mother, Audrey Phillips, of Claremont; sons, Lee Wolverton and his wife, Gabrielle, of Germany, and Frank Wolverton and his wife, Mary, of Davenport, Iowa; stepsister, Cheryl, of Riverside, Wash.; brothers, Chris Phillips and his wife, Kimberly, of Von Orny, Texas, and Kelly Phillips, of Claremont; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul, and her husband, Walter.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
