Iris Murphy Parks, 44, of Springfield, Mo., died Monday, July 15, 1991 at St. John Regional Health Center in Springfield.

Funeral services at Central Assembly of God Church in Springfield. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Parks is survived by her husband, Rev. Paul Parks, two sons, David, 18 and Aaron, 16; one daughter, Tara, 13; seven brothers, Larry Murphy and John Murphy of Michigan, Edwin Murphy, Donald Murphy and Ronald Murphy of Illinois and Junior Murphy and Schyler Murphy of Utah; and five sisters, Rowena Burcham, Anna Mae Coulter, Glenna Clark, Carolyn Mitchell of Illinois and Elizabeth Cloud of Mo

Mrs. Parks was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings.

Mrs. Parks was the daughter of Ted Murphy and lived with the Don Bare family while attending East Richland High School and Olney Central College.

Iris and Paul Parks had been missionaries to Tunis, Tunisia, Ammon, Jordan, Jerusalem, and Malaga, Spain for the past 12 years.
