Patrick A. Kelley, 72, of Olney, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Helia Healthcare in Olney. Pat was born on August 18, 1948 in Olney, IL, the son of "G.L." and "Snooks" (Decker) Kelley.

Pat enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Bill and Chase Elliott. He also enjoyed watching all kinds of sports. Pat took pleasure in spending time with family and friends. His grandchildren and great grandchildren brought him much joy. For many years Pat was involved in various oilfield services and later worked at Roadmaster as a welder. After suffering a major stroke at age 50 he enjoyed mowing his lawn and spending time with his niece and neighbors. He was a past member of the Olney Elks.

Pat is survived by his daughter, Amber Scherer of Chatham, IL; grandchildren, Dalton (fiancée Jessica Zuber) Wood, Daelyn Wood, Taylor (Travis) Stanley and Tanner Scherer; great grandchildren, Kasen Stanley, Parker Stanley, and Isla Stanley; brother, Danny Kelley and wife Deb; niece, Kim Frohning; nephews, Kevin (Rosemary) Frohning, Sean (Megan) Kelley, and Ryan (Kayla) Kelley; several great nieces and nephews; and longtime friends, Rick and Janiece Wagner.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Wood; parents; brother, Michael Kelley; sister Judy Frohning; and brother-in-law, Leo Frohning.

A Funeral Service for Pat will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. A visitation will begin one hour before service time at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at Crest Haven Memorial Park.
