James Austin Keiffer, 41, 937 Chippewa Court, Fort Collins, Colo., formerly of Olney died Wednesday evening November 8, 1989 as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident 12 miles from Fort Collins.

The body will be cremated. Memorial services at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ft. Collins. Local memorial services will be held. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Olney with Rev. Father Chris Hill officiating.

Mr. Keiffer was born April 9, 1948, the son of Samuel James and Rosemary (McLean) Keiffer in St. Louis, Mo.

He was President and Chairman of the Board of Colorado First Financial Corporation, Fort Collins, Colo.  He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Fort Collins.

Survivors include three sons, Tod James and Ryan McLean Keiffer both at home, and John Keiffer of Minnesota; three brothers, Samuel James Keiffer, Pueblo, Colo,; John McLean Keiffer, Ironton, Mo., and Mark Todd Keiffer, Crested Butte, Colo.; six sisters, Elthea Williams, Olney; Mrs. Richard (Rosemary) Fulk, Auxuasse, Mo.; Mrs. Jim (Christine) Totten, Carmi; Mrs,. Albert (Joianne) Burgener, Olney; Mrs. Curt (Candie) Armstrong, Olney and Virginia Williams, Norfolk, Va,.; one aunt, Marion Kelly, St. Louis, Mo.; 21 nieces and nephews and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Rosemary Keiffer.
