Gwendolyn D. Murphy, 59, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Shelbyville Memorial Hospital in Shelbyville. Burial in Findlay Cemetery.

Gwendolyn was born July 9, 1948, in Effingham, the daughter of Robert David and Alice Marie (Simmons) Jenkins. She married Ed E. Murphy on December 22, 1966, in St. Joseph, Mich. Gwendolyn was a member of Findlay Christian Church and Findlay Women's Club.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Murphy, of Findlay; daughters, Ronella (John) Gaugh, of Strasburg, and Jennifer (Bill) Kearney, of Cooks Mills; sisters, Cheryl (Gene) Boone, of Mason, and Rene/ Farley (John), Franklin, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son and grandson.
