Myra "Marty" (Hammond) Savoy, 75, of Olney, Illinois died on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at her home. Marty was born on February 2, 1947 in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of Oran and Elmira (Davis) Hammond. She married Richard Joseph Savoy on March 24, 1967, and he preceded her in death on November 26, 2008.

Marty enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, and attending craft shows. She was also a member of the Olney Quilt Guild. Marty especially loved spending time with her grandkids. Marty will be missed by all those that knew her.

Marty is survived by her daughter, Lori Lacey and husband Leonard of Olney; Grandchildren, Jordyn (Michael Turner) Eckel, Danielle Lacey, Jacob (Rebecca Novak) Eckel, Brooke (Brenden Keys) Lacey, Olivia (Isaac) Coleman; Ten Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband, and three brothers.

A visitation will be held for friends and family on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. Cremation Rites will take place after the services, and burial will take place at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens in Olney at a later date.

Memorials can be made to the family for funeral expenses.
