Glenda Dunkin (Hagen)

Glenda (Dunkin) Hagen, 72, of Olney, Illinois, died on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Select Specialty Care Hospital in Evansville, Indiana

Glenda was born on September 5, 1948 in Princeton, IN, the daughter of Wallace Marshall Dunkin and Donna (Tibbs). Later she married Allen Hagen on June 25, 1967 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney, and he survives.

Glenda graduated from East Richland High School in 1966. After graduating from high school, Glenda worked for US Congressman George Shipley as an office administrator and lived in Washington DC for a short time. Glenda and her husband, Allen, eventually moved to the Chicago area where they lived for many years until returning to Olney after her husband retired. Glenda enjoyed quilting and shopping, especially antique auctions. She will be missed by her close personal friends and especially her family and grandchildren.

Glenda is survived by her husband, Allen Hagen of Olney; son, Mark (Tracey) Hagen of Mesa, AZ; daughter, Andrea (Eric) Mialkowski of St. Michael, MN; grandchildren, Kyle, Lauren, Thomas, Lauren, Riley, and Andrew; sisters, Sabra Parrot and Misty Jenson; brothers, Charles Dunkin and Dustin Dunkin; and several nieces and nephews.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry Dunkin.

A visitation for Glenda will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kistler Patterson Funeral Home in Olney.

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

 I can't imagine how difficult it is to lose your life partner.  Only God can provide the healing, comfort & peace you & your family need at this time.  🙏🏻😭💔
