Carl D. Garrett, 17, 521 West Chestnut St., Olney, Illinois passed away August 6, 1977 at the Richland Memorial Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

Interment in the Memorial Garden section of Haven Hill Cemetery.

Carl was born May 29, 1960 in Sharpsburg, Ohio, the son of James Garrett and Edwyna Cook Garrett. He was a junior at East Richland High School and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Olney.

He is survived by his mother and brothers and sisters: Mrs. Rosemary Kuhl, Mrs. Peggy Sterchi, Mrs. Clarise Long, Mrs. Denise Hubbell and Jimmy Garrett all of Olney, James Michael Given of Fort Ord, Calif., Dennis Ray Given of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Mrs. Beatrice Camara of Livermore, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his father.
