
Julia Campbell McCandless, 42, of Marion, Kentucky, formerly of Olney died Tuesday March 4, 2003 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, Ind. Funeral services at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Mickey Quentin, Pastor of Life in Christ Church in Marion, Ky. officiating. Burial with full military rites conducted by Richland County Veterans Organizations at Calhoun Cemetery in Calhoun, IL.
Mrs. McCandless was born November 22, 1960 in West Point, N.Y., the daughter of Galen and Clara Campbell. She married Scott McCandless on August 7, 1999 in Marion, Ky. He survives.
She was a U.S. Army veteran and a nurse at Salem Springs Nursing Home in Salem, Ky. She was a member of Life in Christ Church in Marion; a member of Women’s Auxiliary at the church ; and a member of Kentucky Commonwealth Nurses Association and Indiana Nursing Association.
Mrs. McCandless is survived by her husband, Scott McCandless of Marion, Ky.; her father, Galen Campbell of Olney; two daughters, Sayeh Naddaf of Terre Haute, Ind. and Stephanie Wilson of Willow Hill; step-son, Jordan Taylor Lang; three brothers, Bobby Campbell of Olney, Ray Campbell of St. Cloud, Fla. And Jamie Campbell of Orlando, Fla. and three sisters; Terri Milligan and Penny Truitt of Olney and Cindy Taylor of St. Cloud, Fl.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Campbell in 2000 and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
