William R. Foust

William "Bill" Ross Foust, 71, lifelong resident of Dundas, Illinois, died on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at his residence. Bill was born on June 19, 1950 in Olney, IL, the son of William "Harry" Foust and Netha Lorraine (Brown). Later he married Pat McConchie on June 13, 1971 in Marshall, IL, and she survives.

Upon graduating high school in 1968, Bill started working at Prairie Farms Dairy until retiring after 38 years. He was an avid sports fan, especially OCC basketball, the Fighting Illini, along with the Chicago Cubs and Bears.

When he was younger, he did a lot of fishing and camping with family and friends. He also enjoyed attending sporting events and watching his kids and grandkids play sports.

After retiring he enjoyed traveling out West with his wife and friends. Bill also enjoyed going out to eat and could often be found on his front porch visiting with neighbors and friends. He took pleasure in golfing with his buddies on Mondays and Thursdays.

Bill treasured his time with his kids and grandkids, and his sarcasm and big laugh will be missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Bill is survived by his wife, Pat Foust of Dundas; children, Angie Wright and husband Brian of Robinson, IL and Chris Foust and wife Samantha of Olney; grandchildren, Grady, Chandler, and Jackson Foust, Mikayla and BJ Wright; sister, Val Foust of Dundas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and cherished Aunt, Letha Brown Davis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with the funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021  Interment will follow the service at Dundas Cemetery.
