Janet Sharrine Nadler, age 59, of Wheeler, IL passed away at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. Funeral services celebrating the life of Janet held at the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL with Carroll Ross officiating. Burial in the Scott Cemetery near Winterrowd, IL.

Janet was born on March 3, 1949 in Olney, IL, the daughter of Raymond A. and Mary Jane (Williams) Doan. She married Ron Nadler on June 1, 1972 in Olney, IL.

Janet is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ron Nadler of Wheeler, IL; mother, Mary Jane Doan of Olney, IL; three children, Sharrine "Sharri" (husband Harrell) Kerkhoff of Tuscola, IL, John (wife Melissa) Nadler of Mattoon, IL, Erin (husband Kevin) Wickman of Newton, IL; six grandchildren, Raymond Kerkhoff, Julia Kerkhoff, William Nadler, Emma Nadler, Jacob Wickman and Wade Wickman; two brothers and two sisters, Marty (wife Janice) Doan of Albion, IL, Sandra (husband John) Gaither of West Salem, IL, Jeff (wife Paula) Doan of Mt. Carmel, IL, and Jacque Doan of Evansville, IN.

Janet was preceded in death by her father.

Janet was the manager at Illinois Official Grain Inspection in Teutopolis. She was a member of the Winterrowd Christian Church and Gideon's Auxiliary. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
