Bruce J. Pool, 57, of Calhoun, Illinois passed away Thursday February 6, 2014 at his home.

Bruce was born a son of Arthur and Betty Jo (Mewes) Pool on July 16, 1956 in Olney, Illinois.

He was a farmer and avid outdoorsman who loved animals, hunting, fishing and farming. He was a member of the Richland County Farm Bureau, former employee of Champ for 30 years and a volunteer at Berryville Vineyards.

He is survived by son Brett (Machelle) Pool of Wheatland, Indiana; Mandy (Jeremiah) Brown, Chelsea (Greg) Volk and Mackenzie Pool all of Olney, Illinois; brother, Brad (Jane) Pool and sister, Cheryl (Tim) Braddock both of Berryville, Illinois; and grandchildren Dakotah, Keegan, Dawson, Sydney, Marlee, Gabriel and Abram.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services at the Berryville Christian Church. Burial in the Shiloh Cemetery, north of Berryville.
