
David Kevin Hatten, 55, of Olney, died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.
Mr. Hatten was born November 7, 1955, in Richmond, Va., the son of Don F. and Lula Margurite (Meredith) Hatten. He attended East Richland High School and worked several years in the oilfields. He was a driller for Marathon Oil Company prior to being disabled and also worked for Black & Black Oil Company.
Mr. Hatten is survived by his son, David Cole Hatten, of Olney; father, Don F. Hatten, M.D., and stepmother, Joan L. Hatten, of Olney; brother, Frank L. Hatten and his wife, Deb, of Olney; brother, Alan B. Hatten and his wife, Maria, of Olney; sister, Risë Carol Hatten, M.D., of Olney; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margurite Hatten; oldest brother, Don F. Hatten II; maternal grandparents, Earl Lloyd and Margurite Meredith; and paternal grandparents, Frank W. and Florence P. Hatten.
