James R. Sutherlin II, 33, of Long Beach, Calif., died 1:20 p.m. Sept. 10, 1987, in Pauda Hospice House in Long Beach.

Mr. Sutherlin was born March 31, 1954, in Olney, the son of James Robert and Wilma I. (Nehring) Sutherlin.

He was a computer operator for a printing company.

Survivors include his parents, James and Wilma Sutherlin of Olney; a brother, Henry Owen Sutherlin, Champaign; two sisters, Nancy Marie Sutherlin, Belleville, and Ruth Ellen Sutherlin, at home; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
