Steve Fritschle, 65, of Olney, IL passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019.  Steve was born February 5, 1954, the son of Don and Louise (Burget) Fritschle. 

He leaves behind two sons, Kyle Fritschle and wife Traci of Evansville, IN and Andrew Fritschle and fiancé Josh Lodolo of Indianapolis, IN.  He also departs a life-long friend, Lynn Bricker of Olney, IL.  He is survived by parents, Don and Louise (Burget) Fritschle of Olney, IL; brother, Mike and Paula Fritschle of Olney, IL; sister, Karen and Dave Read of Olney, IL; and grandchildren, Ethan and Annabelle Fritschle of Evansville, IN.

Steve spent much of his adult life in the welding industry.  When he wasn’t working, you could often find him visiting friends, trying a new recipe, or spending time with his much-loved dog, Abbi.  Abbi was just one of the many animals he held as close companions throughout his life.  Steve had friends near and far and will be missed by all.

Memorials can be made to St. Benedict Cathedral School in Evansville, IN or the Richland County Humane Society.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 19, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney.  Cremation Rites will be accorded following services.
