REPORTED MISSING IN ACTION IN BELGIUM ~
Pvt. Alfred Rozell Royse, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Royse of northwest of Olney, was reported missing in action in Belgium since December 25, 1944 according to word received by his parents over the weekend from the War Department.
He was a 1942 graduate of the Olney High School and was shipped to France in December last year as a member of the 132nd Division. He was inducted in June 1944 and received his training at Camp Croft, S.C. Prior to his induction, he was engaged in farming with his father.
In addition to his father and mother, he has three brothers, Corp. Ernest Royse, Carl and Marion Royse at home and two sisters, Elizabeth and Evelyn Royse at home.
