Carl Edward Witschy, 68 of Oak Park, Illinois, passed away November 1, 2020.

Carl was born March 3, 1952 in Indiana, son of Ward K. and Frances A. (Simms) Witschy. He was raised in Southern Illinois and remained a devoted University of Illinois fan. He was a past partner with the law firm of Lathan & Watkins.

Carl is survived by his wife, Diane Menza; sons, Thomas and Christopher Witschy; his mother, Frances A. Witschy; brother, James Witschy and his wife, Margaret Parker and several other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ward Kenton Witschy in 1978.

Carl loved his many dogs.

A memorial service will be planned in the near post Covid future. The family requests that any donations go to Animal Care League of Oak Park.
