Rosamond Olive Peach, 72, of Charlotte, NC passed away at her residence on July 5, 2024. She was born in Montreal, Canada on December 21, 1951 to Richard and Hilda (Becker) Peach.

Rosamond graduated from East Richland High School located in Olney, IL in 1970 and immediately joined the US Navy. She served over 12 years, achieving the rank of Photographers Mate 1st Class. In 1987, she graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor's Degree while working part time at WSIU PBS station in Carbondale. After completing her education, she returned to Olney and worked at the WUSI radio station from 1990 until 1995. Her final job was at the WTVI PBS station in Charlotte, NC which she retired from in 2014.

Her passion was reading. She loved books from an early age, and it had continued throughout her life.

Miss Peach is survived by her brothers and sisters, Richard (Charlotte) Peach of Coventry, RI, Robert Peach of Goose Creek, SC, Ronald (Indira) Peach of Nicaragua, Roxanne (Mike) Peach of Rock Springs, WY and Rosalyn Peach of Robinson, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
