Monte Musgrove

Dr. Monte R. Musgrove, 42, Olney, died Sunday, December 31, 1989 at his home.  Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Dr. Musgrove was born August 15, 1947 in Olney, Ill. the son of Alvin and Wenonah (Ameter) Musgrove. He married Sally Berger, August 2, 1970 and she survives.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church and a veterinarian who established and operated Musgrove Animal Clinic since 1972; director of American Quarterhorse Association and chairman of the International Show Committee; an approved American Quarterhorse Show Judge, having judged in England, Germany, Canada and South America and many locations in the United States; current president of the Illinois Quarterhorse Assoc. He served on Equine Research Committee for the American Quarterhorse Assoc. for 10 years; and Illinois Horse Council; Olney Savings and Loan Board of Directors and member of the Board of Directors for Olney Chamber of Commerce.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Sally Musgrove, are two daughters, Robin and Sara Musgrove, both at home; one brother J.W. Musgrove of Godfrey; his parents, Alvin and Wenonah Musgrove, Olney; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Loren and Jean Berger, Olney and two nephews.
