Sandra K. Anderson, 64, passed peacefully on Monday, June 28, 2010, in Jacksonville, Fla.
A memorial service held at Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont.
She was born and raised in Olney and loved nothing more than to spend time with her grandkids. She also enjoyed camping and fishing. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be missed dearly.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, William and Katherine Jackson; son, John Joseph Anderson; and daughter, Ginger Christine Anderson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, devoted husband of 44 years, John L. Anderson; son, Todd Eric Anderson; grandchildren, Matthew, Merissa, and Alli; and many treasured friends.

Because Sandy was our neighbor and one of my childhood playmates I do not remember a time when I didn't know her. She was part of a very special time in my life,our shared childhood,and for that reason will always occupy a place in my heart. We saw each other briefly at the 35th reunion and ran across the room and hugged. We trusted that we would see each other again and spend time together. Sadly for both of us that did not happen-a lesson that I will not forget.
