Doris E. (Windle) Drawhon, 92, of Savanna, Illinois, formerly of Morton, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Big Meadows in Savanna.

She was born on October 27, 1932, in Clay City, Illinois, to Lester and Gertie (White) Windle. Doris married Cecil Drawhon on December 19, 1954, in Decatur, Illinois. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Laurie; parents; two sisters, Dorothea and Donna; son-in-law, Michael; and great-grandson, Tre Garland.

Surviving are her daughter, Cecilia Garland of Albany, Illinois; two sons, Michael (Robin) Drawhon of Deer Creek and Joel (Sharon) Drawhon of Seminole, Texas; five grandsons and nine great-grandchildren.

Doris started teaching in 1954 and taught for 25 years. She enjoyed making quilts, sewing, doing crafts, taking walks and camping with family.

She was a member of Morton Methodist Church and Ladies Hannah Circle.

Burial will be at Roberts Cemetery in Morton.
