Delores Helen (Waigand) Straley, age 93 of French Lick, Indiana passed away on December 24, 2024 at Springs Valley Meadows. She was born on February 1, 1931 to Edward Waigand & Katherine Marotte Waigand. Delores married Gleason Straley on April 24, 1971. He later preceded her in death on August 23, 2000. Delores was a homemaker and a member of the Orange County Senior Citizens. She also attended Sulfur Creek Bible Church in French Lick.

Survivors include her step-son - Richard Straley of Beaver Creek, OH, 3 step-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, & caregivers - Susan Lagenour & Paula Lagenour both of Dubois

She is preceded in death by her husband, brother - Edward C. Waigand, sisters - Ellinor Depper, Lillian Gillaspie, & Louise Russell

Visitation will be Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 4-6 pm at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli. A graveside service will be on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 2 pm est. at Smith Cemetery in Clay City, IL.
