Joy Dale Runyon, 42, of Fairfax, Va., formerly of Olney, passed away Monday November 18, 1974 at the Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland.

He was born May 10, 1932 in Ste. Marie and later lived in Olney, where he attended Olney schools

On June 30,1951 he was married to the former Madge Nix.

Mr. Runyon was manager of the Finance Dept. for the United States Post Office in Washington, D.C.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Tom Runyon; three daughters, Beth, Sue, and Ann, all at home; his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Don Johnson; a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis (Carolyn) Hail.

Services at the Holy Spirit Church in Annandale, Va.
