James William "Jim" Montgomery, age 75, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2009, in Humble,Texas. Son of William B. and Jane (Wharf) Montgomery, he was born on August 8,1933, in Olney, Illinois. Both parents preceded him in death.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Lou E. Montgomery; children Holly Stewart and husband Joe, James David Montgomery and wife Joni, Jane Ann Melle and husband John, Debbie Jean Watson and husband Doyle, Deanna Lee Pennington and husband Keith; grandchildren John Junge and wife Brandy, Derrick Junge and wife Holly, Ashley Curless, Josie Stewart, Adam Melle, Maggie and Matthew Montgomery, Scott Ellington, Jr., Amy Watson and her husband Thomas, Terry Watson, Charlotte Ellington, and Brandon Pennington; great-grandchildren, beloved pets Sam and Princess and numerous loving family and friends.

Funeral services were held at Roller-Drummond Southwest Funeral Home, Little Rock, Arkansas, with interment at Pine Crest Memorial Park, Little Rock. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
