
Angela (Kocher) Craig, age 86, passed away peacefully January 6, 2019. She was born April 7, 1932 in Olney, Illinois, to Louis A. and Mary R. (Krause) Kocher. She married her love and soul mate, Dewey Gene Craig, in September of 1954. She was a breast cancer survivor.
Angela grew up on a farm in rural Illinois and went on to be a local beauty queen. In 1951 she was crowned Miss Olney. After marriage, she and her husband raised two beautiful children in Morton, Illinois, where she was active in her local church and bridge club. They moved to Mequon, Wisconsin in 1985 and then out to Escondido, California, where they spent over 15 years enjoying the sunshine, fresh fruit, La Jolla Playhouse and Del Mar Racetrack. Later they moved to Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Beach, Florida, where they marveled in the breathtaking views from their condo of the beaches and Blue Angels shows. Throughout her life, Angela did extensive traveling to Alaska, Europe, South America and was fortunate to sail on 42 cruises.
Angela is survived by her husband, Dewey; two children and their spouses, Diane and Jim Coutts, David and Lisa Craig; grandchildren, Sean Coutts (Amanda Lillie), Dan Coutts (Alexis Denton), Marissa Coutts, Morgan Craig, and Matthew Craig; great granddaughter, Norah Coutts and great grandson due in April. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
