
Fred W. Couch, 74 of Bloomington, Indiana, died Friday, August 31, 2007, at Bloomington Hospital. Funeral services at the Cincinnati Christian Church in Little Cincinnati with Rev. Glen Stidd officiating. Burial at Gosport Cemetery.
He was born on February 21, 1933, in Mt. Carmel, IL, the son of Manson and Beulah (Smith) Couch. A retired minister, he served the Christian Church for over 45 years in Indiana, Illinois and Ohio prior to retirement. Following retirement from the full-time ministry, he served area churches on an interim basis and also worked for Marsh Grocery.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce (Hunsicker) Couch of Bloomington; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Dan Wilson of Solsberry, Sally and Ron Eads of New Albany, IN, and Kelli and Kevin Gray of Bloomfield; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Deborah Couch of Glouster, OH; two brothers and sisters-in-law, S.C. and Janet Couch of Bloomington and Robert and Hulda Couch of Mattoon, IL; and one sister-in-law, Kathy Couch of Ft. Myers, FL; fourteen grandchildren, Heather (Bill) Wilson, Matt (April) Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Faith Couch, Jeremiah Couch, Cady Hope Couch, Johannah Joy Couch, Micah Couch, Ray Eads, Allison Eads, Ethan Gray, Emily Gray, Stephen Gray and Jordan Gray; and four great-grandchildren, Reed Hudson, Isaac Hudson, Bethany Wilson and Alathea Wilson.
He was preceded in death by one son, Fred J. Couch; his parents; and one brother, Donald Couch.
