Judith "Judy" Deel, 55, of Olney died Wednesday January 1, 1997 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  Services at Zirkle Funeral Home with Rev. Burl Shinkle officiating. Burial in Sumner City Cemetery.

Deel was born January 13, 1941 in Olney, the daughter of Harold B. and Edith M. (Nesler) Wright.

She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Olney and worked for many years as an ICU nurse at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

She is survived by  two daughters, Lisa Deel of Olney and Amy Deel of Effingham;  three brothers, Bill Wright and his wife, Mary Lou of Olney, Larry Wright and his wife, Jan of Olney and Eddie Wright and his wife, Marilyn of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
