James Robert Summers II, 69, of McKinney, Texas, died. Monday, January 11, 2010, at Centennial Medical Center in Frisco, Texas.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Rev. Father Jerry Wirth officiating. Entombment in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mr. Summers was born December 26, 1940, the son of James and Helen (Hendershott) Summers. He married Marsha Ellen. She survives.

Mr. Summers is survived by his wife, Marsha Ellen, of McKinney, Texas; son, Todd Robert Summers, of McKinney, Texas; brother, Steven Howard Summers and his wife, Donna, of Sherwood, Wis.; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Robert and Susan Ragan, of Keller, Texas, and Timothy and Vicky Sutherlin, of Irving, Texas; uncle and aunt, Victor and Evelyn Moore, of Olney; nephews, Stephen Summers, Andrew Summers, Joshua Sutherlin and Justin Ragan; nieces, Christina Benz and Courtney Ragan; great-nephews, Nick Summers, Gavin Benz, Henry Benz, Drew Summers, Jack Benz, Ben Summers and Rhyse Ragan; and great-nieces, Hannah Summers and Isabella Ragan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Helen Summers.
