Linda L. (Sanders) Robinson, 77, of Harrisburg, Illinois passed away on July 18, 2019 in the Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi.

Linda was born in Olney, IL on July 31, 1941 to the late Lester L. and Molly (Feazel) Sanders. She retired as an R.N. for Life Link Nursing Home and she was a member of the Oasis Community Church of Nazarene in Harrisburg.

Linda was married to LeRoy “Tiny” Gibbs Sr. and he preceded her in death on February 3, 1982. On November 1, 1986 she married Jackie Robinson and he preceded her in death on February 9, 2013.

She is survived by her children, LaDonna (Bart Ramey) Gibbs of Eldorado, LeRoy Jr. (Jenny) Gibbs of Gillespie, IL, and Brandi Morales of Harrisburg. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren: Dustin Stricklin, Zachary Gibbs, Chelsea Morales, Amber McDaniels and Chelsea Robinson and sixteen step grandchildren: Andrew, Katie, Laura, Kenny, Nick, Nicole, Jaclynn, Matthew, Roselyn, Samantha, Robert, Clare, Anwaar, Bryce, Milan and Lakotah and 5 great grandchildren: Liam W., Ella, Liam M., Michael and Hunter. Four step sons: David Robinson of Winnipeg, Canada, Kenneth Robinson of Glendale Heights, IL Keith Robinson of Addison, IL and Kevin Robinson of Buffalo Grove, IL. Also surviving are six sisters: Shirley Bishop, Barbara Longest, Betty Hinton, Janice Hall, Cindy Lane and Tina Cox and also several nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her son, Lonnie Gibbs on March 31, 2004 and a brother Donny Sanders and two sisters, Faith Sanders and Carolyn Graham Clarke.

Funeral services held at the Oasis Community Church of Nazarene in Harrisburg with burial in Big Ridge Cemetery.
