Brenda Irene Helling, 57 of Hartford died Saturday January 30, 1999 in Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton.

Services at Marks Mortuary in Wood River with Rev. David Wagner officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Helling was born February 17, 1941 in Olney, the daughter of Roy and Jane (Neely) Linder. She married Robert Helling June 28, 1964 in Olney.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Rob Helling of Hartford and Christopher Helling of Wood River; one daughter, Susan Helling of Wood River; one granddaughter; three brothers, Stanley Linder of Ohio and Byron and Paul Linder of Olney.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
