Sally Ann Gottfried, 55, of Olney died Wednesday June 4, 1997 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney.

Gottfried was  born September 9, 1941 in Olney, the daughter of Vern Clayton and Geraldine (Hickel) Griffith.

She was the secretary for Fehrenbacher Insurance in Olney and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Eagles Auxiliary.

She is survived by one son, Dr. Patrick R. Gottfried of Olney; one daughter, Kelly Gottfried of Olney; one sister, Cindy Bolander of Olney and one niece, Jamie Bolander of Olney.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
