Eleanor K. “Willie” Williams Seitz, 68 of LaPlace, Illinois passed away Sunday, November 30, 2003 in her home. Services in LaPlace United Methodist Church with burial in LaPlace Cemetery.

Eleanor was born March 14, 1935 in Richland County, the daughter of Effie May McNair and Wallace Williams. She graduated from Decatur and Macon County Hospital School of Nursing in 1956. She married John F. Seitz on April 16, 1956 and they settled in LaPlace.

She spent the majority of her nursing career with Dr. George A. Chiligiris in Decatur, until illness forced her to retire in early 2001.

Surviving are her husband, John of 47 years; son, Steven L. Seitz; daughters, Linda K. Seitz and Beth Ann Armantrout; three grandchildren; brother, Ray Williams of Ellery; many close relatives and extended family.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Effie Williams; brothers, Maynard, Charles and Ward Williams.

Her love of family and friends was evident throughout her life. Her dedication to her family and those she cared for throughout her nursing career will be missed.
