Ida Slater, 64, of Olney died Saturday March 27, 1999 at Burgin Manor Nursing Home.  Funeral services at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home with burial in the Dundas Cemetery.

Ms. Slater was born January 10, 1935 in Olney, the daughter of Dewey and Mary Bennett.

She is survived by two sons, Dick Slater of Bremerton, Wash. and Bill Slater of St. Louis; four daughters, Rose Sepulveda of Dickinson, Texas, Mary Jane Zwilling of Claremont, Teresa Sibley of Pulaski, Tenn., and Roxanna Behnke of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Benny Bennett of Florida; one sister, Wanda Bennett of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; 18 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ivan Bennett.
