Ivan Glen Schell

Ivan G. Schell, 70, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, July 31, 2005 at his residence.

Born July 31, 1935 in Wayne County, Ill., he lived in Rockford, Ill., and Senatobia, Miss., before moving to Jonesboro in 1989.

He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Krueger Printing and Ringier Corp., and was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Jonesboro where he was a member of the Businessmen's Sunday School Class.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Elizabeth Hilliard Schell; and by one brother.

Survivors include his wife, Eula Sullinger Schell of the home; two daughters, Connie Schell Thuston of Springfield, Mo., and Melanie Schell Stone of Jonesboro; a son, Alan G. Schell of Pleasant View, Tenn.; two sisters, Janice Lowe of Cisne, Ill., and Betty Kasten of Rockford; four brothers, Charles Schell of Oregon, Ill., and Phillip Schell, Roy Schell and Jerry Schell, all of Cisne; eight grandchildren, Eric Thuston, Sean Thuston, Cody Veteto, Kady Veteto, Jennifer Marsh, Andrew Stone, Nicholas Stone, and Benjamin Stone; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services at Emerson Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Curtis Shatley and the Rev. Stan Sullinger officiating. Burial in Cisne Cemetery, Cisne, Illinois.
