Robert Earl “Bob” King, 63, passed away Saturday, October 17, 1998 at a nursing home in Crockett, Texas. A memorial service was held at Lake Baptist Church.

Robert E. King was born February 11, 1935 in Valparaiso, Indiana, son of Charles Earl and Winona J. (Dewhirst) King and had resided in Crockett for 10 years. He was a retired field manager for IBM. Mr. King was a member of Lake Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Betty L. King of Crockett; daughter, DeAun Dawson of Weatherford; son, Tony King of Weatherford; grandson, Jeff Dawson; step-daughter, Rachelle Jones; step-granddaughter, Jennifer Jones and many beloved friends and colleagues.
