James R. Fisk, 61, of Flora, died Wednesday December 25, 1996 at Good Samaritan Hospital Health Center in Mt. Vernon.  Services at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with Bro. Edd Sterchi officiating. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery in Flora.

Fisk was born February 17, 1935 in Richland County, the son of John and Margaret Fisk.  He married Geveva Tucker December 23, 1964 in Flora.

He was a Korean War veteran.

He is survived by his wife of Flora; a son, Dale Sproat and his wife, Jennifer of Evansville, Ind.; two daughters, Deborah Naill and her husband, Bill of Little Rock, Ark. and Rebekah Kohn and her husband, Tom of Flora; a brother, Eugene Fisk of Olney; a sister, JoAnn Cantrell of Olney and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
