Beverly J. Rogers, of Olney, died peacefully Friday, March 4, 2016, at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Effingham.  Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life held at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney.

Beverly was born July 28, 1935, in Sacramento, California, the daughter of Delmar M. Smith and Alice S. Campbell. At the age of 5, she was adopted by her uncle and aunt, Alva and Edith Campbell, of Olney. She attended East Richland High School and graduated in 1953. She married Russell L. Schnepper on November 22, 1953, and later married Walter "Buddy" Rogers on March 17, 1989.

Beverly worked for her husband Russell at Lancaster Veterinary Clinic in Lancaster, Wisconsin, then later at Fennimore Sale Barn. In 1978, she moved to Benicia, California, where she worked at Benicia Industrial Park assembling Chevy Luv Trucks. She completed her CNA in 1981 and went to work caring for the sick and elderly. Following her marriage to Walter Rogers in 1989, she returned to Olney, where she cleaned houses, provided daycare in her home for several years, and worked in home health, giving end of life care and offering assistance to many.

She is survived by her children Amy Jo (Louis) Kapp, of Olney, Michael C. Rogers, of Livingston, Montana, Kim (James) Ligon, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Lori (Walter) Myers, of Lenoir, North Carolina, Ann (Randy) Christopherson, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Erin Schnepper, of Toronto, Canada, Lisa (Scott Miller) Schnepper, of Winona, Minnesota, Daniel Schnepper, of Hudson, Wisconsin, Darin (Colleen) Schnepper, of Lancaster, Wisconsin, Cassie Schnepper, of Park City, Noah Schnepper (Tiffany), of Sarasota, Florida; and her brother, James (Cathy) Campbell, of Cathedral City, California.

Also surviving are 32 grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the light of her life, as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews and her very special friends, Roseann and Bob Shell, Puzi Edmiston and Claudia Morgan.

She was preceded in death by husband Walter “Buddy” Rogers; her parents; sister, Shirley Tatera; brother-in law, Eugene Tatera; brother, Richard Smith; daughter, Jamie Rogers; and first husband, Russell Schnepper.
