Vernie Ray Swim, age 62, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 1996. He was born September 18, 1933 in Casey, Illinois, son of  Lowell and Maxine (Brandenburg) Swim. He married Shirley Ann Marquardt and she survives.

He is survived by his beloved wife Shirley; his parents; six daughters; four sons; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends.

The Memorial Service was held at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, Feb 13, 1996 with burial in Rosewood Cemetery, Humble, Texas.
