
Robert Novak, 72, of Fort Wayne, Ind. formerly of Olney died Thursday, July 13, 2006 at his residence in Fort Wayne, Ind. Burial in Shiloh No. 2 Cemetery west of Olney.
Mr. Novak was born on September 4, 1933 in Richland County, the son of Edward and Beulah (Nichols) Novak. He never married. He was a professor of English Literature at I.U. in Fort Wayne, a division of Purdue. He was a member of the Quaker Church and Garden Club.
He is survived by his sister, Shelby Jackson and her husband, Robert of Claremont; brother, Jerry Novak and his wife, Shirley of Olney; sister, Jessie Brown and her husband, Bill of Fairfield; sister-in-law, Evelyn Novak of Calhoun; brother-in-law, Frank Cunningham of Vincennes, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Novak was preceded in death by his parents.
